Sopore, 31-01-2022: Members of “Save Youth Save Future” organised the latest event of series of full-day trainings as part of the project “Free 4 Youth: Fighting radicalization to enhance e-strategy for a youth-comprehensive approach towards on-line terrorism”.
The event took place at Conference Hall Eddy Hotel, U2 Plaza Byepass Sopore, district Baramulla. 70 participants, including 45 boys and 25 females, participated in the trainings.
The trainings consisted of 3 sessions. The first one was titled ‘Possibilities and challenges in online media related jobs’, during which the trainer discussed with participants how the digitalization era brings many opportunities: new ways to connect people, tools to facilitate everyday life, research, and diverse work processes. The trainer further explained concepts such as entrepreneurship and freelancership, and various possibilities for remote work and new kinds of services, which could be explored by young start-up talents.
The second session was on ‘Leadership and organization skills’. Different practical organization skills and forms of leadership were discussed with participants during the training.
The last session was a roundtable during which participants enthusiastically engaged in brainstorming, expressing their open and candid thoughts, and making suggestions for future changes. That was followed by a quiz competition, where 3 participants were awarded books of internationally acclaimed authors.
